We had Jonah crab claws this week.
Now, crab is a delicacy that I save for strenuous weeks, and i put on comfy clothes, fill up a glass of wine, and eat more than i should. And this was a tough week.
I like drawn butter. And I like them plain. But I was craving mustard sauce.
I also wanted to use this awesome jamaican pepper sauce...
So simple. So delicious.
I will never do anything else with crab again. This is by far the best shellfish dipping sauce I've ever made. Or had. Period.
Here goes:
4 Tablespoons mayo
1 Tablespoon horseradish
1 Tablespoon good dijon mustard
1 Tablespoon lime juice
1 Tablespoon hot sauce
1 Tablespoon Half Moon Bay steak sauce
mix all together
